Yeah, but I think the AJA IO-HD is more for the laptop too. Imagine
being able to support any format on your laptop. Only thing you have to
do now is carry around a huge disk array too. :)

Yeah. This was an area that was weak. And with FCP server software it
does suggest far better media management as well as support for cluster
super raids.

Compressor was in need of some fixing.

True. However, this is where the 'big boys' have set up camp. And it's
going to take a long time till new studios are built, and FCP makes some
headway. In the indie circuit it was easy for Apple, but they are after
larger fish now.

I did see that CBS2 has switched over all their news departments, which
is pretty kewl.
