What kind of file format do they need to be in for the Nero Digital
Audio disc? And how do you convert the .wav tracks to that format?
A/ They need to be .mp4 or .aac for Nero Digital Audio - search google for
conversion programs mp3 to aac or wav to aac etc etc
To clarify, what I want to do is have several separate albums that are
grouped together as albums with track order of my choosing, on a DVD
disc so that it'll play in a standalone DVD player.
A/ I don't think there is any simple way or specific software designed to do
this easily - if you don't mind the CD album playing through without track
access, ie one long track you could simply make a mpeg file based on the CD
cover for the length of the album. You could use Womble to do this and
export as mpeg2 with AC3 sound. This could then be authored in say
ConvertXtoDVD as a title, just add in as many of these compiles as will fit.
Not sttraightforward but it would work. If you wanted to go down to track
level then it would be a very big job with a several dozen or so titles. And
of course you could access the menu from your TV screen
It's simple to put the contents in folders as a data disc, but a DVD
player doesn't recognize them in that form.
A/ Well my Zensonic displays all tracks when I do it - it depends a lot on
the firmware of the particular brand of DVD player - caveat the file format
must be wave or mp3
