Nope. I don't believe it's decrypting the stream. Box serial is in the clear
in a swappable eeprom. The channel names are in the clear, as are some unit
specific front panel messages. Even the setup password is in the eeprom. I
didn't see anything about it on Lyngsat. I've been out of the satellite loop
for several years, and I figured someone with the knowledge and equipment
might be able to "discover" something new. It's definitely coming from where
I said it was.
