Stereos got cheaper.
One used to pay $350 for 20W/Ch x 2 channels.
Now, one can get a 5, 6, or even 7 channel at 110W/ch receiver for
less.
Granted, THD has taken a dump as well. Used to be in the sub - 0.2%
range, and no 0.5% plus is the norm.
If one pays $500 plus, one can move back toward 0.1% THD at rated
power.
