One other minor thing, have you updated your security setup, i.e. if
you use SpywareBlaster - it has a section for Firefox. If you don't
currently use it, I recommend it, as it locks down loads of ActiveX
exploits.
Other bits of wandering rants on topics like anti-virus and spyware

(it's aimed at beginners, and I try not to make the subject too scary,
while giving useful pointers to what to use that's free)
