When posting a new message (article), using the "X-No-Archive: yes"
option in the header of the message, and sometimes as the first line
of the body text, will alert *some* archivers to not archive the
message, although it may be displayed for seven days or so. Of course,
this doesn't apply to messages which have already been sent. I'm not
sure if a Cancel control message that related to a message posted
years earlier would have any effect.
Getting old Usenet messages deleted from http://groups.google.com/ may
be possible. I really don't know as I've never tried, but I would
think that it would take some effort, such as proving that you were
the original poster.
