Thad's suggestion of "home theater in a box" is welcome, but apparently they
start at $200 minimum. My budget for improved sound is $100 max. Also I'm
not really interested in putting a lot of speakers around the room. I would
prefer just 1-2 speakers like comes with an ordinary TV or hi-fi system. So
I'm still looking for something under $100 to give decent sound with DVD
movies, and using either:
--RCA connectors, i.e. traditional right & left channel speakers
or
--a COAXIAL (Digital audio) cable connection - I've never used this but my
DVD player provides an output jack. I don't have that kind of a cable, so
would have to buy one. What kind of audio equipment under $100 would this be
compatible with?
