What annoys me is that a LOT more movies are shooting now in 2.35:1
instead of 1.85:1--movies that have no business doing so. It used to
be that 2.35:1 was reserved for a more "epic" look, now everybody and
his brother is shooting in it, and it's lost its epic feel.
I mean, did "Beerfest" really warrant 2.35:1?!?! Did it really benefit
from it?
