I downloaded a two-part AVI of Leon (director's cut) with the intention of
converting it to DVD so as to avoid breaking the seal on my limited edition
slipcase edition. One part was corrupted and I was unable to convert it so I
asked for advice in the conversion forum. Resident-snitch "Jimmalenko"
reported me to the moderator "LordSmurf" for downloading "warez". At the
time I didn't have a clue what he was talking about but before I could
explain that I already bought a copy the thread was locked. I was advised to
PM LordSmurf to explain the situation but he was unavailable for comment.
The latter has since been dismissed as moderator and anyone penalised by him
has been given a clean sheet.
There are some mods at VideoHelp who pretty decent and others who are real
bastards. You learn not to cross swords with the latter.
