Plus, it probably costs them less than $0.25 to make a DVD.
They pay nothing for the material they are copying.
They pay nothing to support a production studio.
They pay nothing for copy protection royalties, or any other
technology they use.
They collect no sales taxes, and probably pay few taxes for
their hidden production facility.
They pay for no advertising.
That one shipment caught by the dogs may not be all their
production.
They can make plenty more.
With almost all of that $2.86 as profit they are making
more profit than a legal sale of a $15.00 DVD
