You silly little man the alt.video.dvd groups which are quite a few were
created
on Oct of 1995. Its in the history books you tool.
DVD players may have been shipped in 96 but many knew they were coming which
is why the groups were created.
So you are saying Franc (smirk) that no one knew DVD was going to come out
before
1995? If you are saying that then you are a bloody moron Franc. It took them
years to
develope it and in that time everyone knew about it for some time before the
actual
release date.
Its like you saying that no one knew bluray was coming out. We've all known
abouty bluray for years before ot came out as was the case with dvd.

What does this have to do with anything you moron ?
There are discussion forums on the new dvd years before it came out.
You see Franc everyone knew (except you but no surprise there) that
before Oct of 95 that dvd was coming which is why the news groups were
created in the first place. News groups don't just happen, there is a long
drawn out process before they are created.

The charter is not set in stone you twit. Its only a guide.
There have been discussions on this before you moron.
Go do a google search.

Quite sad Franc that you do not even know the rules of these news groups.
Go look at the first ever posts on aus.dvd and there you will find a
moderator
post from the creator of the news group. Its all there in blank and white.
