I haven't.

Presumably you mean the cube that forms the receiver?
The transmitter appears to have the mic built-in which is likely OK
if you can put it in the talker's breast pocket (or a similar location).
But likely not very effective clipped onto a belt or in a slacks or
skirt pocket. (Depending on what kind of sounds you are listening
for :-)
I believe it is a BlueTooth device with limited frequency response
(likely OK for low-end speech). Note that no audio specs are
published. That speaks volumes IMHO.

Probably not. It looks like it wants a consumer-type active shoe
connection. Note also that the Sony VX 2100 is NOT shown in the
compatible cameras list.
The Sony WCS-999 likely works at least as well, has a real microphone,
is listed as compatible with VX2100, and costs half as much.
The WCS-999 has the reputation for not a great signal-to-noise ratio,
but if you are shopping for bottom-of-the-barrel wireless mics, what
can you expect.
Note that many people think that a wireless mic that costs less than
$~450 is a disposable plastic toy. You DO get what you pay for.
Since you didn't mention the application(s), you will have to make
up your own mind if it is worth it.
