Well not really. You don't rewind a dvd disc.
RW and Ram discs are discs which can be written to more than once but
as you're writing digital information to them then to record on them
again you will have to erase what is there already to record over that
space. You can record more than one program on a disc on different
days etc but you would still have to remove programs from the disc to
make new space. Each machine has advantages and disadvantages and the
way they handle the different RW formats may be quite big too. For
rewritables though the RAM disc is probably the sturdiest and most
versatile, but not all players will allow you to play them.
The recording facilities all depend on which machine you purchase and
at first you may find it a bit fiddly, but you'll soon get used to it.
