There's a software update which will launch automatically the next time you
play an HD-DVD. Once the update has occurred and you restart, when in the
HD-DVD player, you can press Display and then select the Digital Audio
Option.
This then gives you the chance to disable the Dolby Digital Night Mode
(which was previously set to On the whole time - very annoying!) and also
select DTS as an output format if you want. Interestingly early reports are
that the DD setting gives best results from most if not all source formats.

Note this updates was NOT part of last week's dashboard update and does NOT
allow you to set DTS as an output format for game play - it's only for
HD-DVD playback using the HD-DVD drive.
