application = software = program = whatever you wish
It doesn't change the fact that you can't get a "hi-res"
still image from conventional video.

The OP already clarified what he meant about six weeks ago,
and this question was extensively discussed, but never resolved
as there is no real solution to the original question. Review the
bidding on Google Groups Archive if you missed the main part
of the discussion.
