You don't say what editing/DVD program you are using.
I have just started working with Adobe Premiere Elements and with it
you can add scene markers which will allow you to play the DVD in the
manner I think you are wanting.
If you add "Stop Markers" when you reach the end of each chapter it
takes you back to the main menu.
I'm wondering if you have used stop markers rather than scene markers
to create the chapter points on your DVD?
