I discovered this useful link for when you need to know all the details and
specs of a movie such as the screen format, type of sound, etc:

For example, Netflix doesn't include the Screen Format (screen aspect ratio)
with more and more new movies descriptions. That's unfortunate, because I
absolutely must know it, because my TV will not play 2.35:1 correctly. I
have a 25" 4/3 TV and the picture is much too small, so I will no longer
rent or buy any movie with a screen aspect ratio greater than 1.8.
