I'm not trying to please the majority of the people. I'm trying to please my
client. I've actually had shooter/editors call me from the edit bay to thank
me for how good the audio is. Especially when I have opted for a boom mic
rather than a lav. Of course, there's more to it than the boom/lav issue, but
it ain't about an EQ tweek, it's about making your client look (or sound)
good. Using the best tools does make a difference if you're using them right.
That's how you get a good reputation and how you end up with more clients
than you can serve. That's called making a living. :)
