We've ALL had experience. My experience tells me that the shotgun is
the wrong mic for this application, the lav is the best. Abut 90% of
what you hear on TV is lavs. Sitcoms, reality, news/talk etc. The rule
is ACAP: As Close As Possible (without overload) to the sound source,
period.
