Finally I found a program which does all the things I want it to do.
Its IMGBURN
Not only does it some other smart works, its f o r f r e e as well :-)
With IMGBURN you can add as many extra files and folders to the VIDEO_TS and
AUDIO_TS folders as you like. The only bad thing about it is that it takes
about 30 minutes to format the DVD before the burning process starts. The
result however seems to be compatible to most of the standalone players.
Anyway, it worked on all I tried out.
Now I have a nice DVD directory with data folders for the PC users, and the
two _TS folders for the movie / DVD players.
BTW, I found out that (in TMPGENC DVD AUTHORs writing section e.g.) you can
simply add any data files to the vob-files in the VIDEO_TS folder.
Standalone players dont seem to care. Its a far less elegant and
professional solution, though, I think. But it works, too.
