So...you're getting email from them, but have never bought anything from
them? That would be spam then.
If you did buy something from them, checked the "don't mail me"
checkbox(es), and still get email from them, then that's not quite spam,
but still just annoying. USUSALLY, a quick email to their sales or
support alias saying something to the effect of "I'm a customer who
doesn't want to get ads. Stop mailing me, or you lose a customer" results
in a quick apology and no more email. If not, I've taken my business else
where. If you want to be nasty, write a polite snail-mail letter to the
CEO, and attach adequately blacked out receipt or two from your purchases
from a competitor, just to show them how much business they actually lost.
