Hi,
I am looking for a simple MP3 player that will do a random shuffle
play of files in a given directory, and will allow you to skip a song
by selecting the next one, like MusicMatch Jukebox does, but without
the resource hogging nonsense of MusicMatch.
MusicMatch Jukebox 10 is a massive resource hog, even on my 1ghz PIV,
712MB ram system. When you initially start it my firewall catches it
when it wants to initiate several processes. Things don't run
properly when it's running - it greatly slows things down. I also
don't need the CD buring capability it includes. It would also be
nice if the software kept all the MP3s at the same volume, something
MusicMatch doesn't do.
Thanks for any help
