DL DVDs are approx 3-4 times more than the same brand single layer. You will
not always see that price offered unless the DL DVDs are on sale so wait
until they are on sale and then buy what you need. Why 3-4 times more
expensive? Mostly supply and demand. There is a much, much larger market for
Single Layer than Double Layer so the manufacturing cost is less and the
margin can be slimmer. I have never seen a price difference between +R DL
and -R DL unless it was between brands or only one or the other was on sale.
