Probably because you don't have a 1st generation HD DVD player. Those
things were a crapshoot with EVERY disc you put it.
Most people that bought The Matrix did have to boil it. You can read
on AVS hundreds of them talking about it.
Look at all the Universal titles that had problems on the 360, like
Children of Men, The Good Shepherd, etc. They fixed that with a
firmware upgrade too.
Again the Pirates movies are right in line with the PS3 demographic.
It appears that over 99% of Blu-ray players have no issues at all with
the Pirates discs, the best HD released yet on any format. 35 Mbps AVC/
MPEG-4 encoding with 24-bit PCM. HD DVD can't touch it.
