Dont know, but cant see why not. I'm assuming that is what he device
above is doing? (Cant see any details in the review - but there is a
reference to stand alone players - so assume its not a PC device!

Probably. I can remember when I first came accross MP3s and only just
having a PC powerful enough to play them. Now look at it! Same goes
for DVDs. I know my c2d machine Ive just built as a HTPC can handle
them easy enough (ok thats an exageration - its using so much raw
power its frightening), but it is just a matter of time. Cheaper chips
and mass production. The only thing that may hold this back is low
take up to become mass production to the levels required. There are
already graphics cards that decode hx264 etc, so its on its way. Mine
just uses the CPU to decode.
