You're planning on buying a new player, huh? Because most people are
not as sure as you are that DTS-MA will be there that soon, and the
concensus is that most of the current BD players don't have enough hump
for DTS-MA.

I seriously looked at the PS3, but it doesn't fit in the schema of my AV
rack. It runs cooler and quieter on its side and that just doesn't get
it.
The S300 is doing a good job of what it does and I suspect that Sony
will have a firmware update to add THD and DTS-HD support soon.
As to the enet capability, yep I would like it, but I would use it just
like I do my HDA2. Connect when I need and update, otherwise it isn't
connected.

I hope they keep putting the LPCM tracks on, IMO makes the THD issue
moot. I really wish they would use 7.1 LPCM though.
As to DTS-MA, nothing does it, not BD not HDDVD. So what is your point?
