Anybody know where I can obtain the repair manual for this model? it's
2 and half years old and as soon as the warrant ran out the disc
playing facility degenerated into the dreaded self check syndrome. This
I could live without as long as I could record to the HD but now it has
taken to going completely blank occasionally when I switch it off and I
have to leave it unplugged for 8 hours before I can get any response
from it. I talked to a service rep who told me this was acommon problem
with it and it would cost me up to A$300 to fix needless to say given
the prices of recordewrs these days I am in the market for a new one
and it will not be a Panasonic make but in the mean time I would like
to have a crack a fixing this on. I have partley disassembled it before
and it is quite easy to do so I thought I might have a crack at fixing
it myself if I can obtain the neccessary parts,
