I haven't been following this thread, and I'm not familiar with the
camera in question (the link posted above returns a "Product not
found!" error message), but I checked the Aiptek German Web site at
http://www.aiptek.de/ and see that there are three models in the 8800
Series, known as the PocketDV 8800, PocketDV 8800 neo, and the
PocketDV 8800 LE.

I don't know what steps might be necessary to allow Premiere Pro to
import files from these cameras, but since the specs seem to indicate
that all three of these cameras produce MPEG-4 SP video data within an
..asf (Advanced Streaming Format) wrapper, I would think that Windows
Movie Maker should be able to successfully import and edit these
files. If so, that might be a workable alternative if you can't get
Premiere Pro to cooperate.
