After you're run each out to MiniDV tape, you /might/ consider exporting
a low-res compressed MP4 (Umm, QVGA, mono?) to keep as a thumbnail of
each show - a 250GB external drive would hold at least 500 hours - or
burn 'em on data DVDs - and let you catalogue 'em in iTunes.
