Moving recordings from DVR disk to another DVD using Computer?

How can I copy a recording from a DVD-RW recorded on a video DVD
recorder to another DVD disk using a computer DVD recorder?

I have several programs recorded on several different DVD-RW disks
using a Pioneer DVR-225 DVD recorder (with a tuner). I want to keep
them for awhile, but I would like to combine them onto fewer disks. I
only have one video DVD recorder.

My computer has a Sony DVD-RW drive bundled with Nero 6 Ultra
recording software and an additional DVD player. The Nero docs have
all kinds of info on recording from analog sources and digital
cameras, but I can't find anything about transferring files from disks
created by video recorders.

The video DVD root directory contains a hidden file named ".Sys-
Reserved-RW-Bitmap.GROW" and a folder named "DVD_RTAV". That folder
contains two files: VR_MANGR.IFO and VR_MOVIE.VRO. The .VRO file is
over 1 GB in size, so I presume it is the actual video content and
the .ifo file is the index. The disk will play properly in the
computer using any of several viewers.

Is there some way within Nero (or other method) to process the files
into a form that Nero can re-burn to a playable DVD?
