Use the beginning of Audio CD as a zero point for the timeline for
about when analog Dolby configurations came about for home consumers.
It all comes down to which of you were around back then, and which of
you were into electronics at that time as well.
Just being "some guy that likes stereos" won't cut it. In depth
knowledge is all that counts.
Describe the evolution of Dolby audio schemas... Now, now... no
google hunts allowed!
