Oh, like the studios do with the initial releases of DVDs with no liner
notes, and a shoddy conversion, and no extras? They should not be
reaping profits from us to pay for the REAL release of a DVD title to us.
Sorry, but the Toshiba players were complete, short of full 1080p
capacity. The firmware upgrade I got was for faster load times, and some
remote functions being useable while another function was being processed
(closing the front panel after the disc drawer shuts). Regular DVDs load
right up, but the higher data rate, stronger encrypted HD discs take
longer to load. That's just a fact of life with larger datagrams.
