I had a long wait for some dvds lately. My friend had too.
CDWOW are in some dispute about how much money they owe some music rights
organisation (or was it the EU itself?).
I think the last I heard they were to pay some daft figure like 200million
euros.
Obviously they'd shut before paying anything close to that, but I reckon
that was the tactic anyway... force them to close.
I hope they can withstand the pressure, but I'm not certain they will.
Recent slowdowns make me less certain.
It could be that, due to the commotion, their suppliers are insisting on
payment prior to shipping stock.
