Technical issues? Bullshit. You buy dual mode players every time
you put a DVD/CD reader in your PC. There are TWO lasers, and TWO
different spindle speeds. 'nuff said. The hardware is NOT the issue
at all, and never has been, and YES I DO KNOW.

So, it is all about licensing and one thinking the other is gonna
grab some market share from the other. If they offer both, then the
consumer decides by which media is purchased. When they are kept
separate, both industries get more sales while the world decides
which is best. They won't make a dual player until a few years after
they have bilked the idiots in the world of twice what these pieces of
shit are worth. THEN, you MIGHT see one become a reality.
