Since part of the reason Sony lost was due to their proprietary schema,
and licensing fee...I doubt it.
They likely had a clause against it as well.
Sony is BAD for America. They push up the price of consumer
electronics and entertainment content at every turn. Very BAD behavior.
The DRM rootkit fiasco alone should tell you that.
Alas, even AFTER AOL got slapped with a huge class action suit for
RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS, the idiots STILL lined up, and signed up for more
ass reamings.
