Yes, you can, and they look damn nice. Or, if you have the equipment and
interest, you can choose to get an even better experience by buying the
HD-DVD (and eventual Blu-Ray) versions. At a price, of course.
This makes perfect sense to me: You can pay a resonable sum and get
"very good" or more and get "Freakin' SWEET!!!". More money gets you
more stuff, and you as a consumer get to make a choice.
Not sure where the confusion is coming from.
