Recording audio (music) for playback on CD player

Posted by Tom Gordon on 08/12/07 19:34

I have a Sony DVD recorder (RDR-GX300). Up until now I have used it
exclusively for playing/recording DVD's and playing music CD's.

However, I would now like to copy some of my old LP's (that's vinyl
records for those of you less than 40 years old :-)

Is there a way to do this? It doesn't look like this unit can record
to any CD media (CD-R, CD+R, etc). And if I record audio only to a DVD-
R/+R, i don't think those would play in a regular CD player.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Recording to audio cassette is
an option, but cassettes also have their durability options, plus it's
probably going to get harder to find a car stereo that takes cassettes.
