I'm looking for information about shooting in Kenya and Tanzania
(including Zanzibar). Specifically what's involved, officially or
otherwise, in getting gear into the country and shooting.
We are only a two person crew with a high end DV Cam camera (DSR 1 on
a D-35), some lights and audio gear and will be shooting in private
internationally funded schools.

Officially I understand permits are required - is this absolutely
necessary? and what sort of customs declaration is required to get
gear in and out of these countries?

Any other related info would be appreciated
