Option 3.
Just today, I finished shooting Martin Yan's latest PBS Network
cooking show that will begin airing in January.
We shot it all on three Panasonic AJ-SDX900 cameras in DVCPro. And
burned through ninety nine tapes.
Not one of them had been striped (blacked) or packed (FF~RWD).
In the thirty years I have been shooting video in various and assorted
tape formats, I have never been asked to shoot on prepared tape.
Just shoot.
