Hi,

I have a Toshiba RD-XS32 HDD DVD recorder that has stopped burning DVD's.
Original DVD's and previously copied DVD's work fine but I can't copy
anything from the HDD to DVD. I can't format or record anything on to a DVD
RAM disk either.

I have contacted Toshiba about getting a new DVD drive and have been quoted
�322 + Vat !! more that a new recorder.

2 Questions.

1. Is it possible to fit a third party drive into the recorder. ( drive :-
SD-W3002-TC )

2. Can I make an image of the HDD on a PC and then burn the DVD's from that
image.
