Thanks for all the suggestions.
Looks like the cheap option on amrayhosting.com has no mysql (so no
wordpress I think.)
I just found Host Monster too.

They seem to have everything I'd be looking for.
The problem I'd have with free hosts is I'm not certain what facilities
I need & would probably find they're unavailable/costly once I realise
what I'm missing.
Also I'd prefer a yearly sub option -and HM are at the higher end of
what I was hoping to pay, but it looks ok. (?)
A search on groups.google reveals it's a shared server so speed would
probably not be the greatest, but that shouldn't be too much of an issue.
webhosting.uk.com looks like a good option too though. Hmm.
