Richard,

I guess I gotta plead guilty as charged.

My personal experiences have run so diametrically counter to virtually
everything nappy posts that rather than let him get away with misleading
all the people who came her for accurate information, I often take far
too much pleasure in calling him out.

My positions on this stuff are well known and have been for years.

I dislike those who self-appoint as "experts" when they won't back up
their expertise with credentials.

I dislike it even more when they try to convince the group at large that
systems, products or services that don't meet their arbitrary standards
are "worthless."

In doing so, they rob people of the opportunity to make their own
informed decisions.

My quarrels with nappy aren't about his opinions, they're about his
constant assertions that his opinions are FACTS and that everyone who
holds a differing opinion is an idiot.

BTW, if anyone wants to judge the reality of nappys assertion of my
"amature" status, might be interested in some photos I've posted of my
"home studio" - built from the proceeds of my work over the past 15
years.

Since the Superbowl is being held in Arizona this year, I did a flyer
responding to a suggestion from an acquaintance that works for NBC in
NYC that one of the international or major market local stations might
want to skip working out of hotel rooms and flypacks and sublet my
studio for the week of the big game or the FBR Phoenix Open.

Here's a link to some studio shots.

Everyone please feel free to pass the link along to anyone in the
industry who might be interested.

Thanks.
