To all...

I was kinda looking forward to continuing this, but real life slapped me
awake in an sad fashion this past week.

I left Phoenix on Saturday morning because one of there major
fundraisers we hold each year for a local charity the Great Tucson Beer
Festival benefiting the Sun Sounds Foundation for the Blind and Visually
Impaired People of Arizona - (www.sunsounds.org), was held Saturday. I'm
the chairman of the Board of Directors for the group and typically help
with the festival each year.

Driving back from Tucson, my wife reached me via cel phone and informed
me that my brother, Jack, had been involved in a fatal automobile
accident in Califorina.

He was driving back from taking his son, my nephew to start his freshman
year at San Diego State La Jolla - The Highway Patrol surmises that
after a long day, Jack fell asleep at the wheel.

It was a single car accident, so at least no one else was hurt.

Because this thread is imbued with vitriol and deception, his name was
John Arthur Marshal Davis, and the accident was on I-5 near the infamous
"Grapevine" north of LA. As always, verifiable reality.

He leaves behind a wife and two living children, my neice Sarah, and my
nephew Arthur, 18.

I've spent two days in a motel in Valencia and helping my sister and the
extended family try to come to grips with our loss.

Sorry, but I don't feel like this pissing contest is very important any
more.

nappy.

I'm reminded that the really important things in life are real. Death is
real. Wasting time with the BS part of usenet is NOT very real.

It's ephemeral and largely useful or valuable only to the extent it
consists of a sharing community of honest, helpful people.

To the extent it does not. It's useless.
