Thanks, I didn't realize that. However, my current DVD player is a Toshiba
from the late '90s (SD-3108) that won't play burned CDs or DVDs as well as
some of the newer commercial release DVDs (like The Lion, The Witch, and The
Wardrobe) so it probably is time to upgrade that too.
