It doesn't do as well as the VX2000 nor does it have the manual gain
control, but it is better than most camcorders I've tried here, not as good
as the TRV900 and roughly the same as an FX-1. When the 24p mode is engaged,
the low light improves a bit, then equaling or perhaps exceeding the FX-1
(which does not do 24p).

and you might check out this website since it has a lot of excellent HV20
samples and info. You will need a good fast CPU to play the HDV sample at
full frame rate, since he has apparently encoded it as a Quicktime mpeg4
file.

There is a forum on this site devoted to HV20 samples. Hope this info is
