You can possibly find a manual on-line, which would have pictures -
that's always helpful.
Here goes:
Coax (RF) cable from cable outlet on wall to DVD recorder.
Red and white cables from recorder outputs to corresponding modulator
inputs.
Yellow cable or S-Video cable (not both) from recorder output to
corresponding modulator input.
Coax (RF) cable from modulator output to TV input.
You may need to use selector switches to get cable directly to the TV.
Since you're not clear about what connections are available (especially
on the DVDR), or whether the DVDR has a tuner, I just winged it above.
So I now leave you on your own from here :-)
