Even if you select to have it not replace the codec,
you might want to continue through the setup and have
the other tools installed or brought up to date. You
could also have it run its check for broken codec, and
you may find some things left over from old software
installs that you should get rid of.
Later in the install you will have a list that you can
select what is to be installed, and how it will associate
or apply the codec.
