If you are concerned about ability to sync audio
and video on separate recorders, the easiest way
to check would be to just run you own experiment.
If you want a more specific answwer, need some
details, etc.

My experience is that modern consumer and pro
equipment with mass-market, non-precision crystals
can hold sync remarkably well. Where I define
"remarkably well" as: I would have noconcerns about
shooting a 10-minute segment. Even longer is quite
managable by slipping the video a few frames against
the reference audio track in your favorite NLE. This is
a semi-regular topic around here. Searching the GG
archives may be instructive.
