I want to buy a high definition DVD player.
I often do not watch an entire DVD in one sitting, so there is one feature
I cannot do without - the ability to stop a DVD, turn off the player, turn
on the player at a later time and resume watching the DVD where I left off.
Even the cheapest standard definition players allow this.
The ability to bookmark a position on the DVD is a clumsy, alternate way to
do this, but looking at the features of all of the players on
crutchfield.com, the only one that seems to have it is the LG combination
HD DVD/Blu-ray player.
No wonder it is taking so long for high definition DVD to become
mainstream.
