This only started happening today. It looked like my uplink
bandwidth was getting throttled, so I changed my ports and
restarted WinMX.
Now, for the most part, my uplink looks sort of normal, but it's
fluctuating wildly. I'm connected as a Primary, so searches
might be partly the cause, only they never have been before, and
I always connect as a Primary, anyway.
Everything was fine before - I'd been on for several days and it
was rock solid. I was able to set a bandwidth limit when I
needed to do other things (like download from Usenet), and then
change it back and it was fine. I'm wondering if, due to my
heavy bandwidth usage, Comcast began screwing with my bandwidth.
I should add that I had to disconnect a couple of times since
last night - once because of a crash, and then to re-set my ports
today.
Anyone else experiencing anything similar, or is it just me?
